The Campaign for an Open Digital Environment (CODE) is organising a demonstration at the EU Parliament in Strasbourg on Monday 8 March from 16:30 - 18:30. The demonstration will take place as MEPs enter the Parliament Building for the final EU Plenary vote on the controversial "Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Directive". Under the directive individual consumers will face the same penalties as major commercial counterfeiters. MEPs are being urged to reject the directive and vote for the FIPR/Cappato Amendments. More details from the CODE Rally webpage. This event is supported by FFII.
