FFII files objection to Amazon patent with EPO

FFII has filed an official objection to the Amazon gift-ordering patent EP0927945 at the European Patent Office (EPO). FFII is asking the EPO Technical Board of Appeal to revoke the patent and to return to a more straightforward understanding of the European Patent Convention, which is the only way to stop the flood of broad monopolies on trivial algorithms and business methods.
