New Apache License

The Apache License has been updated by the Apache Software Foundation board on January 21, 2004. It will be mandated across all Apache projects starting on March 1st. The full text of the license is available from Apache.org.

In which way, precisely, is the new Apache licence non-free?

It has been examined by the FSF, who think it is a free licence, and appears to GPL-compatible.
