Savannah reopens

The GNU project development site savannah.gnu.org has reopened after its earlier security breach. The new system uses chroot'ed environments to isolate each project, and requires ssh for anonymous cvs access (replacing the insecure "pserver" method). A system to store GPG signatures for all cvs commits is being developed to ensure the integrity of the repositories. Full details of the new security measures are available from Bradley Kuhn on savannah.gnu.org.

I know a number of people worked very hard to make this happen successfully and especially hard to do so before the holidays. This is a wonderful "holiday gift" to have Savannah back as a community resource again.
