The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is encouraging anyone who purchased Microsoft software for use in California to take advantage of its class-action settlement to spread software freedom.

Under the terms of a settlement with the state of California the company is required to provide vouchers totaling up to $1.1 billion to eligible users of its Windows products. These vouchers can be donated to non-profit organizations such as the FSF. More details from FSF.org
