While all of the DotGNU team is looking forward to new software, architecture, and public developments to come in 2003, the group has taken one last long look at the happenings of 2002, as well as provided a great introduction for those unfamiliar with the various aspects of the project. The result is the annual publication, This Year in DotGNU 2002: "made it work, now making it work better".

A quick coverage of the short articles featured in the publication:
  • Foreword
  • Background Info
    • Webservices - what's the mystery?
    • Interoperability is what we do
  • Projects
    • Portable .NET
    • DotGNU Execution Environment
    • Secure Execution Environment
    • MACS@Freport
    • DotGNU Forum System
  • Working Groups
    • DotGNU
    • Foundation Code
    • Authorization
    • Architecture
    • Public Relations
    • Philosophy
    • Webservices
    • Business
  • People
    • Developer of the Year
    • Who is who
    • Developer testimonials
Sometime this month, the DotGNU project plans to have another "Meet-a-thon", where newbies are invited by the masses to IRC to learn about the project. Also, Norbert Bollow has started up a Posters (as in big paper to put on walls) project, in order to create some DotGNU art for unexciting (or any) places that could use it. We'll keep you posted :)
