A novel approach to real-time Free Software

It seems that real-time developers finally found a way to get rid of the infamous FSMLabs software patent. The announcement of their solution (ADEOS) is supported by a eight of non-profit organizations and relayed by EuroLinux. I wonder if that will be enough to resist the usual FUD that FSMLabs uses to bring everything that carries the words "real-time" and Free Software under the influence of their software patents ;-)
