AGNULA to develop free music database

The GNU/Linux Audio distribution Project (AGNULA) has announced that it plans to allocate a part of its resources to develop and host a publicly accessible database of Libre Music. The AGNULA project is funded by the Information Society Technologies (IST) program of the EU. More details from AGNULA.org.

Free/Libre & Open Source Software In Education [FLOSSIE] Conference

FLOSSIE is a joint conference, being organised by the Assocation For Free Software (AFFS), SchoolForge UK and The Learning Machine, taking place at the London Institute of Education on the 18th February 2004. It will focus on the practical aspects of using free software in an educational environment.
